FAQ
Common Questions
What types of vehicles does ATV insurance cover?
ATV insurance covers all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), utility task vehicles (UTVs/side-by-sides), dirt bikes, dune buggies, and other off-road recreational vehicles.
Is ATV insurance required in Georgia?
Georgia does not require ATV liability insurance for off-road use on private property. However, if you ride on public trails, roads, or parks, liability coverage is strongly recommended — and some areas require it.
Does my homeowners or auto policy cover my ATV?
Generally, no. Most homeowners policies offer very limited ATV coverage (if any) and only while on your property. Auto insurance does not cover off-road vehicles. A dedicated ATV policy is the right solution.
